Give every outfit an appointment

Choose a compact color family: navy, white and one accent can be a starting point, rather than a dress code. Wear the bulkier practical layer in transit if it suits you. Keep a clean change together for the first meal after tennis, with used playing clothes in a separate removable pouch.
Treat laundry as an arrangement to confirm, not a packing shortcut. Ask about collection and return times if the same outfit must work twice. Check the next venue’s dress expectations as well; a court reservation does not establish what is appropriate at lunch.
Measure the journey, not just the suitcase
Delta’s published cabin allowance is one carry-on bag and one personal item. Its stated carry-on dimensions are 22 by 14 by 9 inches, including handles and wheels. American Airlines likewise permits a qualifying carry-on and personal item. Its carry-on must fit the airport sizer and stay within 22 by 14 by 9 inches, including handles and wheels; the personal-item limit is 18 by 14 by 8 inches. Pack the actual equipment before measuring. Ask the operating carrier how it will treat that configuration rather than relying on the bag’s product name. If your itinerary involves another airline, check that carrier too. If borrowing or renting would simplify the journey, establish availability, equipment details and collection arrangements directly with the venue before leaving your own racquet behind.
Make the hotel part of the plan
For a Key Biscayne stay, use the property’s current experiences information as a starting point for questions, not proof of changing-room access for your booking. Ask where you can change, what you can store and which arrangements apply to your dates. Do not build the wardrobe around facilities shown only in an older photograph.
